Stages

Camino Inglés – Ferrol to Santiago

August 26 – September 3, 2026
Guided Walking and Yoga Retreat | Land Tour Only (No Airfare)

Day 1, August 26, 2026 – Arrival in Galicia
We will pick you up at the A Coruña Airport (LCG) and transfer you to the historic port town of Ferrol, where the English Way begins. You'll have time to settle in, explore the old town or harbor, and soak in the maritime energy of this traditional pilgrim departure point. We’ll gather for a welcome dinner and opening ceremony to set our intentions for the journey ahead.

Day 2, August 27, 2026 – Ferrol to Neda (14 km / 8.7 miles)
Our walk begins along the estuary with a scenic stretch through coastal towns and rural trails. We’ll pass the medieval bridge of As Cabras and follow peaceful paths beside tidal inlets toward the village of Neda, where we’ll rest for the night.

Day 3, August 28, 2026 – Neda to Pontedeume (16 km / 10 miles)
Today’s stage is rich with Galician charm. We’ll walk through forests, past streams, and enjoy views of the Ría de Ferrol. The medieval town of Pontedeume, with its narrow streets and stone arch bridge, welcomes us with its blend of history and hospitality.

Day 4, August 29, 2026 – Pontedeume to Betanzos (21 km / 13 miles)
We’ll cross rolling farmland and rural hamlets on our way to the vibrant and historic town of Betanzos. Known for its well-preserved medieval center and delicious tortilla, Betanzos is a cultural gem and an ideal place to rest and reflect.

Day 5, August 30, 2026 – Betanzos to Bruma (28 km / 17.4 miles)
This is the longest and most challenging stage of our journey, but also one of the most rewarding. We’ll be surrounded by the quiet beauty of eucalyptus forests, stone paths, and Galician countryside. We’ll arrive in the hamlet of Bruma, a quiet, rural area once home to a medieval pilgrim hospital.

Day 6, August 31, 2026 – Bruma to Sigüeiro (24 km / 15 miles)
A peaceful day of walking through fields and forest tracks, far from the buzz of modern life. We’ll stop in small villages and take time to notice the rhythm of rural Galicia. The walk ends in Sigüeiro, a lively town where we begin to feel the nearness of Santiago.

Day 7, September 1, 2026 – Sigüeiro to Santiago de Compostela (16 km / 10 miles)
The final stage brings us into Santiago de Compostela, where cobblestone streets and cathedral spires await. After arriving at the Praza do Obradoiro, we’ll visit the Pilgrim’s Office to receive our Compostela certificate. In the evening, we’ll share a closing dinner and reflect on the journey we’ve walked together.

Day 8, September 2, 2026 – Santiago de Compostela
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Santiago. You may wish to explore the old town, attend a pilgrim Mass, or simply sit in the square and watch as others complete their own Camino. Optional morning yoga or meditation will be offered. We’ll spend one final night in the historic city.

Day 9, September 3, 2026 – Departure
We will transfer you to the Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ) for your return flight home.

Included Activities:

  • Guided hiking along the Camino Inglés, averaging 11–12.5 miles per day for 7 days
  • Nature immersions through rural farmlands, coastal views, forest paths, and historic town
