Lodging can be basic to upgraded superior accommodation at well chosen, rural hotels, casa rurales (country cottages) and/or bed and breakfasts. All rooms are private with a private bathroom.

Starting Point: Ferrol or A Coruña, Spain
A shorter Camino traditionally used by pilgrims arriving by sea from England and Northern Europe. The Camino Inglés offers a manageable distance with beautiful Galician countryside and a strong sense of pilgrimage history.
Distance: ~780 km (485 miles)
Typical Duration: 4–6 weeks (full route)
Starting Point: Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, France
The most famous and well-traveled Camino route. The Francés passes through historic villages, vineyards, farmland, and iconic pilgrimage landmarks across northern Spain.
Distance: ~620 km (385 miles) from Lisbon or ~240 km (150 miles) from Porto
Typical Duration: 2–4 weeks depending on starting point
Starting Points: Lisbon or Porto, Portugal
One of the most popular routes today. Pilgrims experience the culture of Portugal before crossing into Galicia, with charming villages, coastal views, and beautiful stone pathways.
Distance: ~825 km (512 miles)
Typical Duration: 5–6 weeks
Starting Point: Irún, Spain
A spectacular coastal Camino following Spain’s northern shoreline. Known for dramatic ocean views, green hills, and a more challenging terrain, the Norte offers a quieter and deeply scenic pilgrimage experience.
Distance: ~320 km (199 miles)
Typical Duration: 2–3 weeks
Starting Point: Oviedo, Spain
Considered the oldest Camino route, the Primitivo crosses the mountains of Asturias and Galicia. It is known for its rugged beauty, fewer crowds, and strong historical significance.
Distance: ~90 km (56 miles) to Finisterre and an additional ~30 km (19 miles) to Muxía
Typical Duration: 3–5 days
Starting Point: Santiago de Compostela
The only Camino that begins in Santiago. Pilgrims continue west to the Atlantic coast, traditionally considered the “end of the world.” This route offers dramatic coastal scenery and a powerful way to complete the pilgrimage.
